Since 2023, the Waiheke Collective Film Festival has brought our community together through thought-provoking films, inspiring stories and conversations about the environmental and social issues that matter to us.

Each year, the festival showcases films that explore te taiao, te ao māori, climate, wildlife, oceans, food and people, while creating a space for connection, discussion and shared learning.

Hosted by the Waiheke Collective at the Waiheke Cinema, and its network of community groups, the festival is a celebration of the incredible mahi happening across Waiheke and beyond. Each screening provides an opportunity to learn, be inspired and connect with others who care about creating a healthier, more sustainable future.
