Auckland Council are hosting a Kauri Dieback Training for people working on land on Waieke where there are Kauri persent.

There are two events on Waiheke. Both training days will be split into two sessions, one for volunteers (morning) and one for contractors (afternoon).

Workshop 2: Sunday October 13th at the Waiheke Local Board room WHere: (RES Local board room) (10 Belgium Street, Oneroa, Waiheke Island)
volunteer session: 9am-12pm
contractor training between 2-5pm.
LUNCHTIME FORUM, for private landowners to attend that will provide important information on how to protect kauri.
