Pestival Waiheke 2021 is a week-long series of events celebrating Waiheke’s biodiversity. The aim is to offer the public information and inspiration on what’s currently happening in ecological restoration and how they can contribute to efforts on Waiheke.

The week kicks off on 21 August with a Pestival Festival Day from 10am to 4pm at Piritahi Marae. This is a free event for all ages, with local and regional speakers, interactive workshops, information and product stalls, food trucks and face painting.

Over the week we have speakers on digital tools for community conservation, environmentally responsible pet ownership, rat-genetics and managing tree diseases. We finish the week with a conservation mix and mingle at Sol Bar Cafe, 5-8pm, Saturday 28 August. RSVP to waihekecollective@gmail.com to receive a free drink on entry! (Limited to first 30 responses).
