Waiheke Collective held its inaugural Conservation Week Film Festival, a captivating showcase of thought-provoking and impactful films dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues across four themes, Kai, Moana, Wildlife and Waterways.
Each screening was hosted by a different community group from Waiheke Island - Te Korowai o Waiheke, Waiheke Marine Project, Waiheke Resources Trust and Kai Waiheke.
In addition to the films, each screening hosted interactive discussions with environmental experts from Waiheke Island. These sessions provided a platform for meaningful conversations, allowing attendees to delve deeper into the issues raised in the films and exchange ideas.
